"True Mate Ceremony" Party!

In the shapeshifter world I've created in my stories "Lucky Number Seven" "Bijou's Bonds" and the new "Fire Wolf" my wolfie shapeshifters have a special someone who is the perfect mate for them. The problem? If they reject each other, they will be dead within a year. The Brotherhood seer, Barkley, is responsible for notifying true mates of their status when he sees matching auras. Think they are all happy about their mates? Not really!

Sometimes the couple is thrilled and plans a wedding-style party. Some go out into nature and perform a private ceremony. Like any commitment ceremony, it's a compromise.

No matter what the final decisions are, the claws will come out, because the main part of the ceremony is a tattoo made by a werewolf paw! There's a chant, and some magic and finally, the pair is joined for life, which has some wonderful benefits. Especially, since these are erotic romance stories, a lifetime of fabulous sex with a fantastic partner.

Blurb

Divorcee Olivia has had her eye on much younger firefighter Smokie Monahan. She propositions him, never realizing he’s had it bad for her since he first saw her luscious bod in a bikini a decade before. She plans a brief, hot, sexy encounter at the firehouse—in, out, done. But that quickly turns into a series of lusty hook-ups that neither can resist.

Smokie is a wolf shapeshifter, so he knows the scorching sex with a human isn’t going to lead to anything more. Besides, Olivia insists it’s just a fling—no more relationships for her. Then a mystical seer declares they are true mates.

Smokie thinks he’s too young to settle down and Olivia thinks hot sex does not equal love. These two are about to discover just how pleasurable being stuck with each other for life can be.

I was writing a paranormal story at the age of seven so my interest goes back into the mists of my psyche. I came to romance writing in my twenties when I wanted a part of my life to be super-positive. And what is more optimistic than a happy ending?

        Hi June:

Yes, I write a lot of paranormals, especially under my Anh Leod identity. I have an Aphrodite series and a Men of Myth series, for instance, as well as my three werewolf stories. Here is the direct link to all of the EC stories:  http://www.jasminejade.com/m-430-anh-leod.aspx

      Anh,

I LOVE shifter novels. You've got a great story idea with the true mates bond. The fact not all mates are happy about their match is great conflict.

I can't wait to read Lucky Number Seven and Fire Wolf and...I'll be looking through the rest of your books. You can count on it!
