Happy April!

Today I’m excited to see the release of “Victoriana Adventure”—my new historical fantasy novella from The Wild Rose Press, just $2.50!

Blurb:
Marooned in backward Victoriana by magic, Ollie Brown wants to get home to modern Tacoma. The enticing girl who shelters him tempts him to stay in this alternate reality, but what does a nineteenth century princess need with a twenty-first century skateboarding chemist in a world where science is banned?

Princess Lenchen thrills at the chance to assist the handsome stranger who speaks of oddities like candy bars and “grinding.” Ollie offers a breath of freedom, but Lenchen knows he feels trapped and out of place. She reluctantly tries to help him find a way back to his world, though she longs to know more about him—and to escape her cloistered life in the widowed Queen Victoria’s court.

Every girl wants her own Cinderella story, even if she's already a princess—but if Ollie stays with her, will he be allowed to be himself?

Buy Victoriana Adventure

For now it’s just up on the publisher website, but should be at other etailers in the next month. For Kindle, keep an eye on my Heather Hiestand page at:

for updates. Also, you may notice my science fiction novella, “Looking Forward, Looking Back” has now come to Kindle, and the prices on my Cerridwen novels have lowered, so it’s a great time to get caught up if you had any of them on your wish list.

Another item of particular interest is Kindle Holiday in the Heart, an anthology that includes an earlier Victoriana story. At $4.76 for Kindle, it’s still selling well, evidence of the timeless nature of these stories.

Thanks for reading and have a great spring!
