My muse is starting to irritate me! It seems to be satisfied by writing back cover blurbs, book reviews, promotional material, even house sale blurbs and job search letters. This can't be good. If it keeps up like this soon I'll be happy simply writing my grocery list. I wonder how people who write for a living like technical writers and reporters find the creative energy to write fiction. My muse needs to stay hungry. Especially when, in an unusual twist, I'm getting paid to write fiction and not the non-fiction stuff.

    Hmmm...maybe I need to stay off the email for a few days!
