My werewolf quickie, Lucky Number Seven, came out June 13th and I was afraid my baby was never going to get a review! But finally, someone noticed it, and gave me a great review! Yeah!
"a great werewolf story"
After being cheated on and left at the alter, Vi Lane decided men are not worth it. She is never, never trusting another man in her life. But of course she can still have sex, right? I mean that is totally different, you can have sex but not give your heart or trust to a man. So she tells herself that she will have some fun with the next man she meets, and then she has a flat tire of all things. But when she sees the man candy that comes to her rescue, Cere, oh she is jumping up for joy, and wetting her panties. But what Vi doesn't know is that Cere isn't a human man, he is a werewolf. He is from a Brotherhood of Dogs called the Werewolf Pack. Cere knows that Vi is his true mate, and he has come to claim her. Will Vi give Cere the chance to prove that not all men are dogs, and that some can be trusted, ones like him? Will she also except that Cere isn't human? And will Vi being human be enough for Cere?
Anh Leod has written a great werewolf story. For some ladies out there that have experienced what happened to Vi, with a man you are in love with cheating on you, they can understand where Vi stands. I am in love with anything werewolf or vampire, so I have read a lot let me tell you. But the way Ms. Leod wrote this story was so well done. The relationship between Vi and Cere, the fight he had to show her that not all men are dogs, that some can be trusted and not to turn away from men just because some of the bad ones out weigh the good ones. Your true soul mate is out there and this story shows that.
