A couple of weeks ago I decided to set up email for my website - heather@heatherhiestand.com, anh@anhleod.com and so forth. Wasn't more than a couple of days before the spammers hit and I had hundreds of emails coming in driving my crazy. Well, that stopped soon enough and all of a sudden spammers have hit my blog in a huge way. I'm assuming it started yesterday because my reads were quite a bit above average, though it wasn't until today I started getting "comments" on the blog. The bizarre thing is, we're now into day three due to the tracking system on Quick Blog, and they appear to be "reading" certain entries only. Obviously the newest two, but then randomly various others. I wonder how I got this spammer notice all of a sudden, and why they are picking on certain entries only.

So much for trying to figure out which of my entries my real readers enjoy. I can't tell anything at the moment. What are these spammers trying to accomplish?

Any advice?
