Novak diabetes auction

"The Brenda Novak's Third Annual On-line Auction for Diabetes Research has come to a close--and we had a truly amazing year, raising a total of $141,700." That's more than double last year's result!

Isn't that wonderful? Lots of people donated including me (someone bought a critique and copy of Cards Never Lie) and people really came out to bid on the items. I hope the money helps further research to help understand this epidemic-level disease. Last year I lost two family members to complications of diabetes and everywhere I've worked I've seen numerous people fighting it.
