Night Life by Elizabeth Guest

Sometimes people are just so classy that you have to mention them. I attended a Writerspace chat for Night Life by Suzanne Simmons writing as Elizabeth Guest about six weeks ago. The book had intrigued me with its pharaoh vampire in Las Vegas story line and I'd even carried it around longingly at a bookstore before putting it down due to lack of funds that day. So, I was excited to win a free copy of the book at that chat.
The book never arrived though I did email the correct person with my address and didn't get a reject message. I chalked it up to one of those things and forgot about it since RT was a week later.
What do you know, but the Elizabeth Guest newsletter came out yesterday, and there is a line about trying to find me as well as another reader from that chat! The author actually went in search of the winners whose addresses had somehow fallen through the crack. She responded immediately to my followup email too. I have to tell you that really impressed me, and Guest has obtained a loyal reader as a result. I've been telling people how impressed I am, and that is great publicity for any writer. It pays to be nice!
