This is eight random facts about me because...

I've been tagged by Highland Press author Jacquie Rogers and Cerridwen Press author Jennyfer Matthews!

Directions - POST RULES...

1. Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.

2. People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.

3. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.

4. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

and now...

1. I don't just write romance. Currently I am also dipping into sci-fi. Lavender Isis is publishing my first sci-fi short this month.

2. I write as Anh Leod for Ellora's Cave. My first story is out in June!

3. I studied global herbalism for two years in a professional training program and am just starting work on my first nonfiction project which will be on flower essences.

4. I work in a library part-time. It is hard to ignore the books and do my job. I was terribly excited when a librarian actually bought one of my books for her library.

5. When I first started trying to write books I wrote about faries and magic. I never would have thought I could write a story without magic. Actually, today I just finished a short Anh Leod novel with magic in it so I guess I never gave up on it! Haven't gotten elves back in there yet though.

6. I used to own a business that cared for elderly and disabled people. Many of my Heather Hiestand books have grandparent characters.

7. Someday I'm going to finish my Depression-era time travel romance. But I don't want to say goodbye to my yummy hero George!

8. I usually change the names of most of my characters when I'm doing final edits. It drives my critique partners nuts!

I'm tagging these eight people:

Ciar Cullen

Ashlyn Chase

Jenna Leigh

Candice Gilmer

Liane Bonin

Daisy Dexter Dobbs

Linda Ballard

Julie Kornhausl
