I have been re-obsessed with this 80s-90s British sci fi comedy for the last week. It had been about five years since I had last seen it and it is aging very well! My hubbie even sat down for an episode, which I couldn't get him to do back when we started dating. I guess he is aging well too! <g>
I will admit the first episode or so had a lot of mugging as the fairly young actors got their game going, but even though my VHS copy of the first two seasons is so old and well loved that it frequently fuzzed out and started looping up and down the screen, I managed to watch both seasons. It's that good! I would recommend starting at episode one and working your way through as it took a lot of twists and turns over the years so it is better to understand the setup.
Theoretically, I'm watching all the sci fi I can get my hands on so I'm ready to start my sci fi novel, but I'm actually working on a sci fi story right now, a sequel to Looking Forward, Looking Back which comes out from Lavender Isis next month. Mostly though, I'm working on the sequel to Lucky Number Seven, which is out from Ellora's Cave in June. Shape-shifters and magic and Centralia, Washington oh my!
I haven't received the cover for Lucky yet, but I did see a hot one - a man with a tuxedo shirt open. We are told there are five different possible covers for the Naughty Nuptial series though, so I'm waiting to see which one I get!
