A good friend of mine was married recently. She had a large night-before party, and I found myself transforming all of the attendees to werewolves in my head. Is this a sign of incipient mental illness? Or perhaps I should have known I was soon to come down with the flu (which I did about 36 hours later). Hmmm...
The reason I was imaging the werewolves is because I recently wrote a scene not very different from that of the party I was at. In my story the characters were Greek werewolves and the actual people at this party were Pakistani, Indian and many other cultures, but still, I immediately felt like I was in a scene from my story. I may be writing too much! Regardless, the party was a beautiful melting pot and I wish my friends a long, happy marriage.
I guess having the flu means you get to take a few days off. And if this blog makes no sense you may kindly blame the fever!
Now for the George Clooney part. Read my blog at http://rrahponderings.blogspot.com/ tomorrow to find out why his name is coming up! I am the Tuesday columnist for RRAH ponderings.
Have a great week and stay healthy!
