I hope you had a lovely holiday if you are a Christmas-celebrator. My husband and I had our first married Christmas together. A little strange because we didn't have any family with us due to recent deaths and illnesses. Hopefully we can see family next weekend. After avoiding Christmas movies for the season, we ended up craving them starting the 23rd and got Home Alone and The Santa Clause. We also watched the Ice Age movies - as hubby said, there's lots of snow so they must be Christmas movies! The holiday movies I had from before are still stuck in the garage. Hopefully we can enjoy the classics like my favorite White Christmas next year.
I also finished the last Christmas book on my To Be Read pile - Holidays are Murder by Charlotte Douglas. It was a Harlequin Next from last December. I noticed Douglas has a new Next out this month, so I'll have to grab it before its off the shelf.
We have hot water again. Hubby figured out the water heater problem, and it was a nice Christmas Eve gift to have a hot shower. I know it was less than 48 hours without one, but it felt like longer!
This will probably be my last blog until after the new year, since we have to go out of town for hubby's work then see family. Have a happy and safe New Year's celebration!
Jacquie Rogers sent out a good booksigning photo after I posted the first two. I must have missed the hat memo! You can see it below...

Yeah, you need a hat. Otherwise, hope the holiday was a good one, and get plenty of rest so you can write like mad come January 1!
